Ratio Guide
Mixing ratios trip up more people than anything else. Here is the simple version, just milligrams and milliliters, no unit conversions required.
How Mixing Works
Divide the milligrams in the vial by the milliliters of water you add. That is your concentration. Add more water and every mL gets weaker (more diluted); add less and every mL gets stronger.
Why Units Alone Don't Tell You the Dose
A syringe marked in units is only measuring volume: 100 units equals 1 mL. It has no idea how much peptide is packed into that volume. That comes entirely from your mixing ratio, set the moment you decide how much BAC water to add. Two people holding the exact same vial can end up on very different doses while both drawing to the same unit mark.

Both vials started as an identical 10mg peptide. The only difference was how much water went in. Before comparing "how many units" you're taking with someone else, or copying a protocol you heard about, make sure you're both working from the same ratio. Without knowing the vial strength and water amount, the number on the syringe doesn't tell you anything on its own.

Most standard syringes are marked 0 to 100 units end to end, and that full barrel holds exactly 1 mL. So the 10-unit mark highlighted above is one tenth of the syringe, or 0.1 mL, no matter which vial you mixed.
Drawing Your Dose
Once you know your concentration, drawing a dose is one small division:
Worked example:
- You have a 10mg vial and add 1mL (100 units) of BAC water.
- Concentration: 10mg ÷ 1mL = 10 mg/mL.
- Your desired dose is 2.5mg.
- Volume to draw: 2.5mg ÷ 10 mg/mL = 0.25 mL (25 units).
Read either the mL or the unit markings directly off your syringe barrel; they always line up with each other.
